Blazon: Argent a Baltimore Oriole close proper.
Significance: The badge is that of HMCS Oriole, the 31-metre ketch that has served as sail-training vessel of the Royal Canadian Navy from 1952 to the present. She was launched in 1921 and served earlier with the Royal Navy, including service at Dunkirk in 1940. The bird shown in the badge is the Baltimore Oriole of the vessel’s name.

Artist: LCdr Steve Cowan, Area Cadet Instructor Cadre Officer (Sea), Vancouver Island.
