Blazon: Azure an anchor in bend sinister Or, surmounted by a raven, wings close, Sable, beaked and membered Gules, its dexter claw grasping the shank of the anchor.
Significance: The badge is that of HMS Hood. The raven is derived from the crest of the Hood family, while the anchor alludes to the family's long connection with the Royal Navy.
