Blazon: Argent in base three bars wavy Azure, at the honour point a ship's wheel proper.
Significance: The corps is named for Commander Émilien Paradis, born in the Sayabec region. Commander Paradis was a former officer of the Royal Canadian Navy who subsequently became a Sea Cadet officer. As such, he commanded two corps and was responsible for the foundation of no less than four others in Quebec and Manitoba. He directed several summer camps and promoted sailing as a major element of Quebec’s summer training program. He was eventually appointed Director General of the Quebec Division of the Navy League of Canada.

In the badge, the wavy bands represent the sea – as well as the local Lake Matapedia. The ship’s wheel, which determines the vessel’s direction, symbolizes Commander Paradis’s emphasis on strong direction for the success of the Sea Cadet Movement.
