Blazon: Azure, semee-de-lis Or, the head of an Acadian woman couped at the shoulder Argent.
Significance: The background of gold fleurs-de-lis on the bule field is derived from the ancient arms of France. The head is that of Longfellow's heroine Evangelin, the personification of the Acadian exile.
