Blazon: Vert a bend wavy Argent charged with a like bendlet Gules and over all a garb proper.
Significance: The badge is that of HMCS Saskatchewan, a Mackenzie-class destroyer that served with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1963-1994. In the badge design, the wavy bands represent the three Saskatchewan Rivers, while the wheat-sheaf or “garb” symbolises the Province of Saskatchewan itself.
Notes: RCSCC Saskatchewan, Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan
Artist: LCdr Steve Cowan, Area Cadet Instructor Cadre Officer (Sea), Vancouver Island.
