Blazon: Azure, a cross Argent, charged with five estoiles in cross Gules.
Significance: The corps is named for the Southern Cross, a constellation of five stars visible in the southern hemisphere. The stars in the design are a direct reference to the constellation. The white cross also alludes to the name but more importantly signifies the corps' location in Newfoundland, since a white cross is part of that Province's coat of arms.
Notes: RCSCC Southern Cross, Colliers, Newfoundland
Artist: LCdr Steve Cowan, Area Cadet Instructor Cadre Officer (Sea), Vancouver Island.
