Blazon: Quarterly Or and Gules a bend vairy Argent and Sable within a bordure of the last.
Significance: The badge is based on that of HMCS Sackville, a flower-class corvette that served with the Royal Canadian Navy from 1941-1946. The significance of the design is not known, but is probably associated with the surname Sackville.

The corps badge is an attempt to depict the original ship’s badge design (which was on the diamond-shaped outline used by corvettes) on a circular badge pattern – with somewhat confusing results. The original badge showed simply Gules a bend vair within a bordure Azure, but the attempt to show it on a differently-shaped field has evidently caused both confusion and unnecessary complication.
