Blazon: Argent, the head of a Roman Senator couped at the neck proper, and wreathed with a laurel wreath Or.
Significance: The badge is that of HMCS PATRICIAN, Canada's first naval Destroyer, formerly with the Royal Navy under the same name. The design is a direct reference to the name, since the senators of Rome belonged to the "patrician" or noble class of Roman society.
