Blazon: Or, a bend wavy Azure charged with two like ribands Argent, over all an elder branch slipped Sable.
Significance: The elder, or Sorrel, is from the arms of the Saurel family. The bend represents the St. Lawrence river, on which the town of Sorel is located.
