Blazon: Azure, the sun radiant Or charged with a maple leaf Gules.
Significance: The badge is that of HMCS MAGNIFICENT. The sun radiant signifies magnificence. The maple leaf was added to the RN badge while the aircraft carrier was in Canadian service.
