Blazon: Or, a stylized Tsimshian Indian representation of a mountain goat proper.
Significance: The corps is named for its community, the town of Hazelton at the junction of the Skeena and Bulkley Rivers in north central British Columbia. This is in the tribal area of the Tsimshian Indians. The badge is a stylized Tsimshian depiction of a mountain goat, an animal important in the Skeena culture, since its wool was used for making the famous Chilkat blankets. Heraldically, the animal symbolizes foresight and physical agility, and suggests the proximity of the mountains to the Hazelton area.
Notes: RCSCC Hazelton was originally in Hazelton, British Columbia
