Blazon: Gules on a pile Azure fimbriated Argent a three-branched stem bearing two fleurs-de-lis and a central maple leaf Or.
Significance: The badge is that of HMCS Fundy, a Fundy-class minesweeper that served with the Canadian Navy from 1938-1945. The red background suggests the ship’s Royal title, while the triangular pile is the symbol for a bay (the Bay of Fundy). The maple leaf and fleurs-de-lis suggest the bilingual character of New Brunswick.
Notes: RCSCC Fundy, St. Andrews, New Brunswick
Artist: LCdr Steve Cowan, Area Cadet Instructor Cadre Officer (Sea), Vancouver Island.
