Blazon: Barry wavy of eight, Argent and Azure, a three masted galley under full sail Or, flying on each mast a pennon Gules, the main sail charged with a cross voided of the fourth.
Significance: The corps is named in honour of the battle of December 7, 1914. The badge itself is derived from the arms of the Falkland Islands. The ship represents the "Desire", which discovered the islands, and the cross on the sail symbolizes the Southern Cross constellation.
