Blazon: Gules, a bend wavy Argent charged with two like ribands Azure and over all at the fess point a Dogwood flower proper.
Significance: The badge is that of HMCS COLUMBIA. The diagonal stripe represents the Columbia River. The red background refers to the fact that the headwaters of the river are in British Columbia. The dogwood flower is the floral emblem of British Columbia.
