Blazon: Azure, a stork Proper, supporting with its dexter foot an anchor erect Argent, cabled Or.
Significance: The badge is that of HMCS CHATHAM, the stork being derived from the arms of the town of Chatham, England. The Corps, RCSCC CAPTAIN COOK, was originally affiliated to HMCS CHATHAM and now occupies the building of the old Naval Reserve Division. Because of this old relationhip, they have adopted the badge of the decommissioned Naval Reserve Division. One of Captain Cook's ships was the original HMS CHATHAM.
Notes: RCSCC Captain Cook, Prince Rupert, British Columbia
Artist: LCdr Steve Cowan, Area Cadet Instructor Cadre Officer (Sea), Vancouver Island.
