Blazon: Barry wavy of ten, Argent and Azure, a pile Sable fimbriated Or, pierced of the field, the aperture fimbriated in like manner and enclosing the head of a trident Or.
Significance: The triangle on a barry-wavy background signifies a cape, while the voided area indicates that it is "pierced". The trident head symbolizes the fishing industry and the black colour mining, both important in the Cape Morien area.
