Blazon: Or on a bend wavy Azure a like bendlet Argent and over all a bow in fess surmounted by an arrow palewise Sable.
Significance: The badge is that of HMCS Calgary, a Halifax Class frigate of the Royal Canadian Navy. The gold background indicates the wheat of the Prairies. The barry-wavy bend and the bow together symbolize the Bow River that flows through Calgary, while the bow and arrow further suggest the First Peoples of the area.

Artist: LCdr Steve Cowan, Area Cadet Instructor Cadre Officer (Sea), Vancouver Island.
