Blazon: Or, a bend wavy Azure charged with two like ribands Argent, over all a buffalo's head caboshed Proper.
Significance: The badge is that of HMCS ASSINIBOINE. The wavy band through gold represents the Assiniboine River flowing through prairie grain. The buffalo head signifies the importance of this animal to the Plains Indians.
